What Is SUD IOP

The Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (SUD IOP) at Epic Health Partners offers high-frequency, clinically driven treatment for adults struggling with substance use — without requiring inpatient or residential care.

This level of care provides multiple therapy sessions per week, peer support, and coordinated clinical oversight. It’s ideal for individuals who need structured recovery support while continuing to live at home and engage with work, school, or family life.

IOP is often a critical bridge between crisis and stability — helping clients gain momentum, tools, and support that last.

High-Intensity, Low-Disruption

What SUD IOP Includes

Comprehensive assessment and personalized treatment plan

Multiple group therapy sessions per week

Relapse prevention, life skills, and emotion regulation training

Integration with MAT and psychiatric services if appropriate

Random drug screens and recovery tracking

Discharge and transition planning to outpatient or other levels of care

SUD IOP normally consists of 3 hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week depending on the individual’s needs

Referrals may come from hospitals, probation, DSS, therapists, MAT providers, or self-referral.
