Hospitalization Program (SUD-PHP)

For those who do not require a higher degree of care, such as inpatient treatment, but who require daily (or almost daily) monitoring or management of their substance-related illnesses, the Substance Use Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive and structured care. In order to prevent or lessen inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization concentrates on the patient’s entire care. PHP’s mission is to assist people in rebuilding their lives by giving them access to a variety of therapeutic activities and therapies that can promote healing.

A Partial Hospitalization Program What Can We Expect?

Usually, a professional clinician will conduct a diagnostic interview to assess your medical history before starting a partial hospitalization program (PHP). In addition, you will be screened for drugs and alcohol and assessed for mental health conditions that may require further care. The data will be used by a multidisciplinary team of medical and mental health professionals to create a personalized treatment plan that includes rehabilitation objectives, a discharge strategy, and a relapse prevention plan.
