Veronica Onsurez-Pannell

In 2021, Veronica became a member of the Epic crew. With more than 27 years of clinical experience, she oversees the continuous training and development of clinicians through enhanced clinical healthcare competencies, develops programs, and serves as a subject matter expert on mental health and substance use disorder concerns. Veronica is in charge of organizing, leading, and overseeing the general operations and expansion of the company’s drug and behavioral health services. 

Veronica has held many leadership roles for multiple Community Services Boards in Virginia and has a wealth of experience working with Federal Government Drug Courts. Veronica graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, specializing in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. 

Veronica is currently a Master Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. Veronica has experience working with adults and teenagers with a wide range of needs and cultural origins. Veronica has a wealth of expertise serving the community and the criminal justice population by offering mental health and substance use services. She can offer services in Spanish and is a native of New Mexico.
